Curriculum always comes with a needs assessment. What are the desired outcomes? Knowing that, I can then break those overarching goals into manageable learning sections.
I create both live (synchronous) and learn-on-your-own-schedule (asynchronous) lessons depending on client needs.
Synchronous lessons are taught live, either in person, online, or in a hybrid format. Interaction is in real-time and is immediately responsive to participants.
Asynchronous lessons are lessons that participants can work through on their own. These include pre-recorded videos, interactive or static tutorials, and workbooks. This allows additional flexibility.
I have served as an educator for two decades across multiple continents. I have worked across multiple languages with a variety of professionals. I have a Master of Science in teaching and a further advanced degree (Educational Specialist) in Administration. I also have earned several additional certificates.
I stay current on educational technology and know how to integrate these technologies into training practices without overwhelming learners. I focus on ease of access and usefulness directed toward specific goals (or Key Performance Indicators).
