My first business endeavor started with a bushel bucket and a question. I had just discovered a tree load of furry caterpillars and thought I'd saved them from a spider web. My cousin wanted to know what I was going to do with all of the "rescued" caterpillars. Honestly, I hadn't planned to do anything with them, but her question sparked the entrepreneurial spirit in me. You can listen to that story here.
That was just the start of my business ventures. Since then, I've worked with many companies across multiple continents. I've learned from some of the best in their fields, and I've helped many businesses grow beyond their expectations.
I am also an educator at heart. I worked in the public school system for years, attaining Level 5 status (the highest data-based rating for teachers). I also develop curriculum for clients: onboarding, continuing ed, languages, English-speaking markets, and systems training.
Want to know more? I'm really into art--painting, drawing, and photography. I'm a poet, and a want-to-be novelist. I have a book buying problem. I rescue animals (more than caterpillaras). I'm a half-decent cook and a devoted foodie, so I have to stay active. I sail. I like to hike (slowly), kayak, ride bikes, and dance. I like stand-up comedy and jazz.
